Indovinya: one of the world's most innovative chemical companies

With an approach centered on technology, sustainability and a positive impact on the planet, the company has been accelerating its digital transformation and the new headquarter in São Paulo reflects this progress. The new headquarters was designed to reflect the dynamism of the organization and support an agile, hybrid and globalized operation.

New workspace, new challenge

For the company's new headquarter in central São Paulo, the proposal was to create a fully integrated, collaborative environment, with a high turnover of professionals, visitors and devices, where mobility was total and the network invisible - all while operating with maximum stability, security and performance, even though the office is located in one of the places with the highest signal interference in the city: Avenida Paulista.

Among the main challenges identified by our technical and commercial team were:

  • Ensuring Wi-Fi high availability on all three floors of the building, with uniform coverage and no shady areas;
  • Enabling a high density of simultaneous connections, with stable performance even at peak usage;
  • Ensuring low latency and high scalabilityallowing essential services to function without interruption;
  • Incorporate global security and governancewith access segmentation and policies for compliance integrated into the cloud;
  • Complete implementation in critical deadlineand respecting the strict timetable for the move to the new space.

Project phases

1. Predictive site survey

The project began with study and planning through the predictive site surveyThis is a fundamental stage in ensuring accurate network design, aligned with the physical structure and usage profile of the space.

Conversys experts simulated and studied the building structurethe elements that made up the office space, the distribution and density expected from users and devices and, above all, the sources of radio frequency interference in the Avenida Paulista area.

Based on this mappingThe ideal amount of access points HPE Aruba Networkingas well as their models and exact positioning.

2. Implementing a resilient and scalable network infrastructure

With the implementation of the wired ring topology and interconnecting the switches via fiber optics, Conversys guaranteed that the network at Indorama's headquarters would not be interrupted, even in the event of equipment failures.

Seeking even greater efficiency and centralized control of the entire network, all access points and switches have been integrated into HPE's cloud-based monitoring and management platform, the Aruba Central.

3. Continuous monitoring and support via Conversys Service Center (NOC) 

Once implemented, Indorama's network was monitored by our NOC, the CSC (Conversys Service Center), on a 24×7 basis, including continuous support, maintenance and optimization of all equipment and devices active on the network, with monthly reporting and active incident management.
